Russ Kanner

Russ works with the audit team to execute efficient audits that provide value to the client by looking outside the box before it’s checked.

Russ joined the firm in 2014 and is a senior manager in our Assurance practice, working with clients in the construction, distribution, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing and nonprofit sectors. He is a member of the firm’s Construction and Employee Benefit Plan groups. His main responsibilities include leading teams to execute audits effectively and efficiently while identifying issues that can be improved upon, providing value-added suggestions for each client.

Russ is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is heavily involved in both the Cobb and North Fulton Chambers of Commerce and has volunteered with Open Hand Atlanta and the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Russ lives in Brookhaven with his wife, daughter and their dog.
