Brenton joined Smith + Howard in January 2019 and is a Manager in our Tax practice. He specializes in helping clients navigate the complexities of real estate taxation. With expertise in tax strategy for everything from single properties to tiered real estate fund structures, Brenton provides expert guidance tailored to each client’s unique needs.

His expertise includes tangible personal property regulations and cost segregation studies, helping clients optimize their real estate investments. For Brenton, the most rewarding aspect of his role is delivering solutions that drive real value for his clients.

Brenton resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife. Originally hailing from Colorado, he is an avid mountain biker and raced cross country in college.
