The Inflation Reduction Act expands and increases the permanent tax deduction from $1.88 per square foot to $5 per square foot to encourage the construction on energy efficient buildings. It applies to multi-family buildings 4+ stories tall as well as energy-efficient retrofits of older building. Please reach out to our tax team for more.
