Smith + Howard A Top Firm in the Nation To Work For

Accounting Today released their annual list of the top accounting firms in the nation to work for. Smith and Howard’s placement on this distinguished list marks the second consecutive year the firm’s employees have placed it in the elite group of desirable accounting firm employers in the United States. According to Accounting Today, “The annual survey and awards program, which is conducted in partnership with Best Companies Group, is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in the accounting profession, benefiting its economy, workforce and businesses.” The list includes 100 firms distinguished in two areas: 1) company workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, comprising 25 percent of the total evaluation and 2) an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
